The current age of the patient
Gender
The gender of the patient as recorded within the clinical system.
Ethnicity
The ethnicity of the patient
Core20PLUS5
Core20PLUS5 is a national approach to reduce health inequalities by identifying the most deprived 20% of the population alongside other target patient groups. These include:
- Asylum seeker/Refugee
- Drug/Alcohol Misuse
- Ethnic Minority
- Homeless
- Pregnant
- Smoker
- >=2 Long Term Conditions (LTC)
- IMD <3
Health Deprivation and Disability (HDD)
The Health Deprivation and Disability Domain (HDD) measures the risk of premature death and the impairment of quality of life through poor physical or mental health. The domain measures mobility, disability and premature mortality but not aspects of behaviour or environment that may be predictive of future health deprivation.
This is displayed from 1-10, where 1 is the most deprived and 10 is the least deprived.
Indices of Multiple Deprivation (IMD)
Indices of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) is a relative ranking of geographical areas, using Lower Layer Super Output Areas (LSOAs), these are:
- Income
- Employment
- Education
- Health
- Crime
- Barriers of housing/services
- Living environment
This is displayed from 1-10, where 1 is the most deprived and 10 is the least deprived.
Long Term Conditions
This breakdown displays patients who have a diagnosis of a long term condition recorded.
