Introduction

There may be some areas that are required to submit activity for their organisation that can not be extracted from their clinical system. This could include:
  • Naming your safeguarding lead
  • Completing training
  • Writing an audit
  • Purchasing equipment


Commissioners can use Ardens Manager to list these requirements on their local contract dashboard, enabling practices to upload information in one place alongside their clinically extracted data.


This support article covers the process of uploading information, submitting evidence, and managing submissions within Ardens Manager. 


Viewing and Adding Organisational Activity

Organisational activity can be viewed and added from within the dashboard, under Organisational Activity or from the Upload Organisational Activity task.

 

 

 

To add activity, click on the +Add button next to the right of the report.



Once the report is open, the top half of screen will provide a description of the activity, click See more if required.

 It provides a box to type in free text, and option to drop and attach files.

 


Submitting Evidence

Once your evidence has been attached and added, you can either mark it as complete or submit it for approval if requested by your commissioner. Follow the steps below:


Mark as Complete

  1. Select 'Mark as complete', as highlighted below.
  2. The commissioner will then be able to view your submitted data.
  3. At any time within the reporting period, you can hit 'Edit' next to the report and select 'Mark as in progress' to remove your submission.

 


Submitting Evidence for Approval

Please Note: This option is only available if requested by the commissioner. You will be informed if evidence approval is required for your Local Contract submissions.

 

  1. Select 'Submit for approval'.
  2. Your commissioner will review your evidence and either approve or reject it.

 

 

  • If your evidence is approved, you will receive an email, and no further action is required.
  • If your evidence is rejected, you will receive an email with comments. Re-open the organisational activity task (the task will appear in red) and resubmit your evidence for approval.
